HSSBV Honoring Bob Barker & His Legacy with Spay It Forward Fund

Longtime supporter of animal rights, Bob Barker, graciously remembered the Humane Society of San Bernardino Valley (HSSBV) in his estate when he passed in August 2023. Part of his gift will be used to honor Mr. Barker, as well as help support a cause close to his heart, with the spay and neuter of companion animals. The HSSBV is proud to announce the “Spay it Forward in honor of Bob Barker” Fund. This fund will help companion animal owners with spay and neuter costs at the HSSBV.
The HSSBV encourages animal lovers to “spay it forward” and make a donation in memory of Mr. Barker! While this fund will be open in perpetuity, their goal is to reach $15,000 by the end of May. Donors will also have the option to sign up for automatic monthly donations for this fund.
“We are so grateful for Mr. Barker’s support over the years and that he included the HSSBV in his charitable giving. It is an honor to carry on his legacy through the Spay It Forward Fund and continue to help fight pet overpopulation in his memory,” Teri Seymour, HSSBV Executive Director said. “We hope the community will join as we continue to celebrate him.”
