Foster Army Animal Rescue is Celebrating 10 Years of Saving Lives with a party on May 31st

Riverside’s Foster Army Animal Rescue is set to celebrate their Tenth Anniversary with a street fair, Saturday, May 31st 10am-5pm. The event will be in and around the Foster Army Thrift Store at 6520 Magnolia Ave, Riverside, and will feature live bands, local art vendors, collectibles, vintage clothing, and a $2 stuff-a-bag clothing sale.
Foster Army Animal Rescue began in 2015, with a humble thrift shop on Blaine St. They have since relocated to their current location in the Magnolia Center. Focusing rescue efforts on misfit pets, Foster Army takes in animals from the local shelters who are ill, injured, seniors, underage, and special needs. Pets are rehabilitated in foster homes, and then adopted out to loving Forever Families. Foster Army recently founded Operation: Spay & Neuter Riverside, a program providing free and low-cost sterilization services to Riverside residents in need.
