Crohn’s & Colitis Awareness Week December 1-7

December 1–7 is Crohn’s & Colitis Awareness Week, an opportunity to raise understanding of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), which includes Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. It’s simply a week to educate communities and remind them that they are not alone with their disease.

IBD can pose significant long-term health risks and requires careful, ongoing medical attention. However, patients are sometimes misdiagnosed, and even those with accurate diagnoses may not even be fully aware of newer treatment options.
