23rd Annual Inland Empire Walk & Roll to Cure ALS on 10/19
October 19 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

The ALS Network proudly announces the 23rd annual Inland Empire Walk & Roll to Cure ALS (formerly Walk to Defeat ALS) on Sunday, October 19, 2025 at Miller Park Amphitheater in Fontana. This annual fundraising event brings incredible energy and an outpouring of support for those affected by ALS throughout California and Hawaii. Participants are invited to join other members of the community in honor or in memory of those impacted by ALS for a family-friendly morning of celebration, exercise, education, awareness, music, food, and kids’ fun.
The Inland Empire Walk will be held at Miller Park (17002 Arrow Blvd, Fontana, CA 92335). This year’s fundraising goal is $65,000 with proceeds from the event utilized to support California programs and services for the ALS community, help enact life-improving legislation, as well as fund critical research throughout the world.
Online registration closes Saturday, October 18, at 12:00 PM; however, supporters are welcome to register on the morning of the event once check-in opens at 9:30 a.m. This special community event is open to the public with the walk and roll starting at approximately 11:00 a.m. Designed to appeal to every level of walker, roller, and supporter of the ALS Network, registrants can also donate and participate virtually from anywhere in the world.
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease, is a fatal, neurodegenerative illness that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. People with ALS lose the ability to move, speak, swallow, and, eventually, to breathe – all while their minds and senses usually continue to function. People who have served in any branch of the military are diagnosed with ALS nearly twice as often as the general population. Currently, there are no known cures for ALS and only modestly effective treatments.
Sponsors for the 2025 Inland Empire Walk & Roll to Cure ALS® currently include: Walk & Roll to Cure ALS Community Sponsor, Mitsubishi Tanabe Pharma America, SuperCare Health, Maxim Healthcare Services, NuMotion, Nuera Hospice, CIRM (California Institute of Regenerative Medicine), and Superior Mobility. Sponsorship and tabling opportunities are still available.
