11th Annual Special Needs Resource Fair 4/28

In recognition of Autism Acceptance Month this April, The Help Group is hosting an event to celebrate the talents of autistic individuals and connect families to vital resources in the Los Angeles area.
The Help Group will hold its 11th Annual Special Needs Resource Fair on Sunday, April 28th from 11 am to 2pm at its Autism Center in Sherman Oaks. Anticipating over 1000 attendees and featuring over 70 exhibitors, this free community event provides a valuable opportunity for hundreds of parents and professionals to discover the wide array of support services available for the special needs community in LA.
Co-hosted by LA Parent Magazine, the Resource Fair features representatives from schools, camps, medical and therapeutic services, financial/estate planning, advocacy groups, recreational programs, vocational services, residential programs, and more. Attendees can explore resources tailored for children and adults with autism, learning disabilities, ADHD, developmental delays, and emotional challenges.
In addition to the exhibitors, guests can enjoy family-friendly activities like meeting local therapy dogs, sensory tables, arts and crafts, a community art mural, fun fitness activities, and much more. Food trucks and complimentary Peet’s Coffee will also be available.
