OFFICIAL ENTRY RULES
Pro Football Pick ‘Em Challenge 2023
This is a multi-station local contest running on KCAL-FM and KOLA-FM, provided by Audience, the contest hosting site. The local contest is open to Riverside County and San Bernardino County residents (age 21 and older), except employees and the immediate families of KCAL-FM and KOLA-FM, SBR Broadcasting, Anaheim Broadcasting, all other Riverside County and San Bernardino County radio stations, all Pro Football Pick ‘Em Challenge 2023 contest sponsors/prize providers, or their subsidiaries, divisions, affiliated companies, participating manufacturers and advertising agencies, the determination of which lies solely and exclusively with KCAL-FM and KOLA-FM. The local contest is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
Starting Tuesday, August 29th, 2023, the local contest will open for signups. This contest will only be available online; to participate, visit KCALFM.com or KOLAFM.com to view the contest and fill out the entry form to sign up and select your picks on a weekly basis. The contest will run for the duration of the regular season and will close on Sunday, January 7th, 2023.
To be eligible, participants must be able to provide the necessary contact information (e.g., full name, date of birth, zip code of city of residence, a valid phone number and email address) to fill out their sign-up form, otherwise the entry will not be counted. One signup is allowed per participant, per week; additional signups will be disqualified. In regard to KCAL-FM’s “Thirty Day Rule”, this rule is waived.
LOCAL CONTEST WEEKLY PRIZE:
$100 Weekly Prize: Each week, a $100 cash prize will be awarded to the participant who selected the greatest number of winning teams that week. The Winner will be notified on Tuesday of the following week by email. In the case of a tie, the Pro Football Challenge 2023 Official Rules provided by Audience, the contest hosting site, will dictate how the weekly tiebreaker works. Local contest weekly prize fulfillment will be handled by KCAL-FM or KOLA-FM.
LOCAL CONTEST SEASON ENDING GRAND PRIZE
$2,000 Grand Prize: At the end of the NFL football regular season, everyone who participated in the Pro Football Challenge will receive one (1) entry for each week that they participated in. Example: Participate in 6 weeks, you get 6 entries. Participate in all 18 weeks, you get 18 entries. The $2,000 grand prize will be awarded to one participant by random drawing on or about January 10, 2023. Local contest season ending grand prize fulfillment will be handled by KCAL-FM or KOLA-FM.
NATIONAL CONTEST GRAND PRIZE:
$50,000 Grand Prize: By participating in the KCAL-FM and KOLA-FM local contest, entrants are also signed up for the national campaign provided by Audience, the hosting site, and in the running for the national grand prize. In the event a participant gets every pick correct for the entire season they will be awarded the grand prize of $50,000 by Audience; national contest grand prize fulfillment will be handled by the hosting site.
The winner(s) must be able to provide the necessary information (e.g., a valid phone number, email, mailing address, photo ID and social security number) to claim their prize. There may be up to 18 local contest weekly prize winners, however there will only be one local contest grand prize winner. Each local contest winner is responsible for all taxes, registration charges and other fees related to prizes.
Prizes are not transferable. No substitution of prizes will be made. Winners may exercise the right to decline to accept the prize, but it may not be exchanged for any other prize.
By participating in the contest, all participants acknowledge that some prizes will not be available for fulfillment to the winner immediately after the contest end date. There may be a 6–8-week delay for processing and receiving prizing from the stations’ corporate office. While both parties will make a best faith effort to obtain all prizes as rapidly as possible, participants agree to hold KCAL-FM and KOLA-FM, along with all contest sponsors and prize providers harmless from any specific delivery date and all liability arising from prize delivery and use.

In the event of a dispute, the decision of KCAL-FM and KOLA-FM is final. Winners are solely responsible for their own actions and agree to hold harmless KCAL-FM, all Pro Football Pick ‘Em Challenge 2023 contest sponsors/prize providers, and their subsidiaries, divisions, related companies, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any liability arising in connection with their participation and use of prizes. Winners and other participants consent to the use of their name and/or likeness for publicity purposes in connection with the contest without prior approval or compensation by KCAL-FM and KOLA-FM and all Pro Football Pick ‘Em Challenge 2023 contest sponsors/prize providers. Additional rules provided by Audience, the contest hosting site, will be enforced and applied along with the joint station rules. Audience rules can be found here.
