Steel Panther is a Los Angeles glam metal band formed in 2000, originally called Metal Shop and later Metal Skool, before adopting their current name in 2008. Known for their outrageous ’80s-inspired look, over-the-top stage antics, and raunchy comedic lyrics, they parody and celebrate the excess of hair metal while showcasing serious musical skill.
