CANYON LAKE

Canyon Lake will be celebrating the holiday on Friday, July 4, with fireworks launching from Skippers Island starting at 9 p.m. A DJ will be playing music starting at 8 p.m. on the Lodge pool deck, leading up to the fireworks. The city recommends the best viewing sites are Happy Camp, Holiday Harbor, Sunset Beach, Main Causeway, and on the lake. Information: canyonlakepoa.com/4th-of-july-fireworks

CORONA

The city’s Independence Day Celebration will be held Friday, July 4. The annual Main Street USA Parade kicks off at 9 a.m., heading down Main Street, from Ontario Avenue to Olive Street. At 5 p.m., live music, food and other vendors, along with bounce houses will bring the festivities to Santana Park, 598 Santana Way, followed by fireworks at 9 p.m. Information: https://www.coronaca.gov/events/july4

JURUPA VALLEY

The Jurupa park district’s annual Independence Day celebration will take place from 4-9:30 p.m. Thursday, July 3 at Vernola Family Park, 5211 Wineville Ave. Food, games, live music and fireworks will be part of the event. Fireworks will be at 9 p.m. Presale tickets sold through July 2 are $5 each, a pack of five is $20 in advance. Tickets will be $10 per person the day of the event. LAKE ELSINORE

The city is holding a morning Fourth of July celebration from 9-11 a.m. Friday, July 4 at Summerly Park, 18505 Malaga Road, which will include crafts and a children’s bike parade at 9:30 a.m. An evening fireworks show starts at 9 p.m. Recommended viewing spots are at Lakepoint Park, Swick & Matich Park, Whiskers Beach and Elm Grove Beach, 500 Lakeshore Drive. MENIFEE

The city will host a parade and live music followed by fireworks on Saturday, June 28 at Wheatfield Park, 30627 Menifee Road. The annual event will kick off at 4 p.m. with the parade on La Piedra Road. That road will remain closed until 10 p.m. Festivities include food vendors, a kids’ zone, and concerts by Franklin Wall as well as The Dreamboats. MORENO VALLEY

A Fourth of July parade and FunFest will take place Friday, July 4. The parade will start at 9:30 a.m. at Frederick Street and Alessandro Boulevard. The Family FunFest will kick off at 3 p.m., when gates open at the Civic Center Amphitheater, 14075 Frederick St. Live bands, a kids’ zone and a beer garden are part of the fun. Fireworks will launch at 9 p.m. Wristbands are on sale through July 1 at the Conference and Recreation Center,14075 Frederick St. Cost is $3 per person or $10 for 4 family members. MURRIETA

Before the Fourth of July holiday, the city will celebrate its 34th Birthday Bash, from 2-9 p.m.  Saturday, June 28 at California Oak Sports Park, 40600 California Oaks Road. The city is hosting a Patriotic Picnic in the Park from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Friday, July 4 at Pikes Peak Park, 97 Sixth St. The free event will feature live music, food vendors, a horseshoe tournament along with other games and contests, and the annual bike/trike parade. RIVERSIDE

The city will fire off two fireworks displays on Friday, July 4. Mount Rubidoux and La Sierra Park, 5215 La Sierra Ave., will host shows set to start at 9 p.m. La Sierra Park and Carlson Dog Park will be closed all day and Mount Rubidoux will be closed after 7 a.m. on the holiday. SAN JACINTO

The 2025 Independence Day Stars and Stripes Parade and Street Fair is planned from 9 a.m.-noon Friday, July 4 on Main Street. The city will host its two-day Fireworks Spectacular on Friday, June 27 and Saturday, June 28 at Ruben S. CRESTLINE

Jamboree Days in the San Bernardino Mountains community kick off Sunday, June 29. A free community picnic and Duck Derby are from noon-5 p.m. Sunday, at the Meadow at San Moritz Lodge, 24640 San Moritz Drive. On Saturday, July 5 events will conclude with a parade and fireworks over Lake Gregory. The parade will take place at 10 a.m. with a route from Crest Forest Drive to Fern Drive and onto Lake Drive before ending at Lake Gregory Drive. Shopping, and other community activities will take place throughout the day. The beaches and lake area will close for an hour at 5 p.m. in preparation for the fireworks show over the lake, which will launch at 9 p.m. Information: jamboreedays.com

HIGHLAND

The city of Highland will host its annual Fourth of July parade at 9 a.m. Friday, July 4 at the corner of Church Avenue and Base Line Street. LAKE ARROWHEAD

The annual Independence Day Fireworks Spectacular over Lake Arrowhead will take place at 9 p.m. Friday, July 4. Information: lakearrowheadchamber.com

ONTARIO

The city will celebrate Independence Day with its parade and traditional All-States Picnic on Friday, July 4. The parade along Euclid Avenue starts at 9 a.m., followed by the traditional picnic from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Town Square, 224 N. Euclid Ave. The Ontario Chaffey Community Showband will perform and families can enter their pups in the Patriotic Pooch Contest. RANCHO CUCAMONGA

The Rancho Cucamonga Epicenter Sports Complex, 8408 Rochester Ave., will be the site for the city’s Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular on Friday, July 4. REDLANDS

The 102nd Summer Music Festival at Redlands Bowl presents “A Star-Spangled Evening of Patriotic Pops,” a patriotic concert featuring the Inland Master Chorale and directed and produced by Nolan Livesay, at 8 p.m. July 3. REDLANDS

The city will host its day of festivities, kicking off at 9 a.m. Friday, July 4 at Sylvan Park. Events includes music, games, food and the annual parade around the park, which starts at 10:30 a.m. The Independence Day celebration at the park continues until 3 p.m. The annual fireworks show at Moore Middle School, 1550 E Highland Ave., takes place later, with school gates opening at 5:15 p.m. A live show will begin at 6 p.m., including a flag ceremony and flyovers. The city is hosting its 75th Fourth of July celebration Friday, July 4, with a festival and parade, along with an evening concert and fireworks at Pomona College’s Strehle Track. Morning events kick off at 7 a.m. with a pancake breakfast hosted by the Kiwanis Club. The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and the parade is set to start at 1 p.m. Gates at Strehle Track open at 6:30 p.m. and Pop Vinyl will be performing from 6:45 to 8:45 p.m. Fireworks will start at 9 p.m. Tickets are $10 for ages 4 years and older.
