Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor says he is on a fast recovery path after undergoing surgery on both knees.
Taylor said in a post-operation video that doctors opened up both his knees and “cleaned up a bunch of stuff in there”.
He tells his fans that he will be back on stage “in no time,” adding, “Doctors said everything was great.”
In an Instagram post on May 10, the singer posted a photo of himself on his hospital bed with the caption, “Surgery in both knees today – soon I’ll be worth Six Million Dollars!! See you all soon!.”
It is not clear if Taylor will be completely cured in time for Slipknot’s scheduled performance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on May 17.
However, there’s better hope for the singer’s participation in the band’s new tour that kicks off on June 7.
