Queen’s Brian May Suggests The Beatles Deserve ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’-Style Biopic

Brian May recently suggested that the legendary rock band The Beatles deserve a Bohemian Rhapsody-style biopic.

The Queen lead guitarist offered the opinion in a recent interview with The Express.

Speaking about the influence of the Beatles on Queen, May said, “The Beatles were our bible. Absolutely at every stage in their career and their music development, they were models. And they still are to me, I must say. I love all those albums.”

He added, “To me, they are the greatest. They are the pinnacle of writing, performance and ethos of rock music. They broke down so many barriers, they changed the world many times. I will always love the Beatles without any reservation.”

Despite being “the greatest” music group, the Beatles have been underrepresented in the world of music compared to Queen, according to May.

“The kids today don’t know the Beatles as much as they ought to. The Beatles should be woven into people’s lives in the way Queen music is these days,” he said.

The septuagenarian guitarist shared fond memories of working with the Beatles lead guitarist George Harrison.
