Foo Fighters have postponed their concert at the L.A. Forum this weekend after a member of their camp was confirmed to be COVID-19 positive.
The Forum in Inglewood, California, was scheduled to reopen after the COVID lockdowns with a Foo Fighters show on Saturday, but the bad news came a few days earlier.
“Despite having made every effort to follow CDC Covid protocols and local laws, there has been a confirmed Covid-19 case within the Foo Fighters organization,” the Foo Fighters wrote on Twitter.
They added, “Out of an abundance of caution and concern for the safety of the band, crew and most of all the fans, Saturday’s show at the Los Angeles Forum is being postponed to a later date.”
The band did not name the camp member who was tested positive.
The new date will be announced shortly. Tickets for the July 17 concert will be honored for the new date.
After a lull, more COVID-19 cases are being reported in Los Angeles, where 1,000-plus cases a day were recorded in the past week.
