Eddie Vedder’s ‘Earthling’ Debuts Atop Billboard’s Top Album Sales Chart


Eddie Vedder‘s latest album, Earthling, debuted atop Billboard‘s Top Album Sales chart, earning the Pearl Jam frontman his first solo chart topper.

According to Billboard, five other new albums also debuted in the top 10 of the Top Album Sales chart, including Spoon‘s Lucifer On The Sofa, Mary J. Blige‘s Good Morning Gorgeous, Big Thief‘s Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe in You, 4 from Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators and The Weeknd‘s House of Balloons.

Earthling sold 16,000 copies in the week ending February 17, with physical sales comprising 11,000 (3,000 on vinyl and 8,000 on CD) and digital sales comprising 5,000.

The album also debuted at No. 1 on the Top Rock Albums and Top Current Album Sales charts, earning other first solo No. 1s on the charts for Vedder.
