Circle Jerks‘ second album Wild In The Streets is going to be reissued by Trust Record on February 18. This is the second reissue by the label after it launched the bands’ first album Group Sex back in 2020.
The album will feature Pete Lyman’s remastered audio as well as live performances by the band back in April 1982 recorded at the Elite Club in San Francisco.
The reissue is also going to feature a booklet with the band’s photographs, club flyers and also an extensive article by veteran journalist Chris Morris. The pack will also include recent interviews with Keith Morris, Greg Heston and Lucky Lehrer.
The opening song of the album was made into a music video directed by celebrity photographer and skateboard enthusiast Atiba Jefferson.
“I grew up on Wild In The Streets, so to be asked to direct this video was a huge honor. I wanted to capture and preserve 40 years of history but also celebrate 40 years of punk rock and skateboarding history,” said Jefferson.
Circle Jerks are also going to be on their 40th anniversary tour during the same time.
