Mark Hoppus on Wednesday announced that he is “cancer-fee.” The Blink-182 singer/bassist revealed the happy news on Instagram.

“Just saw my oncologist and I’m cancer free!! Thank you God and universe and friends and family and everyone who sent support and kindness and love,” he wrote.

Hoppus said that he still has to get scanned every six months, and it will take him until the end of the year to get back to normal.

“But today is an amazing day and I feel so blessed,” the 49-year-old rock star added.

Hoppus had revealed in June that he had been battling cancer for the past three months.

He has been regularly giving updates on his treatment for Stage 4-A Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma since then.

The “What’s My Age Again?” singer lost his hair as a side effect of his chemotherapy treatment. He shared a photo of himself with a newly shaved head on social media in July.
