KCAL-FM – OFFICIAL ENTRY RULES
KCAL Getaway to Sick New World

The contest is open to Riverside County and San Bernardino County residents, except employees and the immediate families of KCAL-FM, SBR Broadcasting, all other Riverside County and San Bernardino County radio stations, all Sick New World contest sponsors/prize providers, or their subsidiaries, divisions, affiliated companies, participating manufacturers and advertising agencies, the determination of which lies solely and exclusively with KCAL-FM. The contest is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited or restricted by law.

Starting January 18th, 2023 KCAL-FM will open entries at station events, giving entrants a chance to qualify to win the prize package. The qualifiers must be able to provide the necessary contact information (e.g., full name. city of residence, a valid phone number, email address, etc.) to fill out their entry form, otherwise the entry will not be counted. This contest is only available at upcoming KCAL-FM events. Event attendees may only enter once per event, within the hours KCAL-FM is working onsite. Attendees are welcome to visit multiple station events to increase their entries overall, however they may only enter one time per person, per event. Entries will not be taken outside of the hours KCAL-FM is working onsite. Entries submitted outside of KCAL Event hours will be disqualified. All contestants must be 21 years of age or older to enter. No purchase necessary to enter. Grand prize winner is responsible for all taxes, registration charges, and other fees related to prizes.

To participate, visit the KCAL tent at upcoming station events between January 18th,2023 – March 31st, 2023, for a chance to enter the contest. Dates are subject to change at the discretion of KCAL-FM.

Grand prize package includes, but is not specifically:

• a pair of tickets to the SOLD-OUT Sick New World Festival show on May 13th, 2023, at Las Vegas Festival Grounds
• a two-night hotel stay at Resorts World in Las Vegas
• $500 to help with the road trip

The odds of winning the contest will depend upon the total number of qualifiers and entries per qualifier. Grand prize winner will be randomly selected when the contest has closed and contacted by KCAL Promotions. Prizes are not transferable. No substitution of prizes will be made. Winners may exercise the right to decline to accept the prize, but it may not be exchanged for cash or any other prize.

By participating in the contest, all contestants acknowledge that some prizes will not be available for delivery to the grand prize winner immediately after the contest end date. While KCAL-FM will make a best faith effort to obtain all prizes as rapidly as possible, contestants agree to hold KCAL-FM and all contest sponsors and prize providers harmless from any specific delivery date and all liability arising from prize delivery and use.

The total value of the prize package is subject to prevailing market values of prizes at the time of the prize winner’s receipt of prizes. Contestants acknowledge that the announced value of the prize package is an approximation, and the actual value may vary significantly.

In the event of a dispute, the decision of KCAL-FM is final. Winners are solely responsible for their own actions and agree to hold harmless KCAL-FM, all Sick New World Festival contest sponsors/prize providers, and their subsidiaries, divisions, related companies, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any liability arising in connection with their participation and use of prizes. Winners and other participants consent to the use of their name and/or likeness for publicity purposes in connection with the contest without prior approval or compensation by KCAL-FM and all Sick New World contest sponsors/prize providers.

By participating, entrants agree to these rules. Anyone disputing these rules may be disqualified by KCAL-FM. We reserve the right to change these rules at any time.
