Lilith Czar was previously known as Juliet Simms, & has been musically active since 2005.

According to a press release, Lilith said this of her debut:

“This record is the sonic and visual arrival of “Lilith Czar”. Tonally the mood is visceral angst, divine vulnerability and a passionate resurrection of resilience. This album represents a new beginning and is the entry point for my arrival and becoming something more ethereal and powerful. Growing up I always felt that I belonged in the otherworldly orbit that my heroes existed in and so from filth and dust begins Lilith Czar. I feel strongly that everyone has the strength inside themselves to take the anguish of their past and use it to transform and become their own superhero.”
