Dirty Honey are So.Cal. locals hailing from Los Angeles & formed together in 2017.

This track is featured on their  self-titled debut album, which just dropped today.

Mike Z will be hanging out with Dirty Honey guitarist: John Notto, on Wired In The Empire this weekend!

According to a press release, on this track Dirty Honey lyrically explore the darker side of California, & puts a different spin on the idea of California as the promised land. The track was inspired by vocalist/lyricist’s Marc LaBelle’s tough times he faced after moving west in the early 2010’s.

Marc says of the track:

“Lots of people come out to California, chasing a dream, and sometimes, people just don’t make it. California isn’t always the ‘land of milk and honey,’ dreams don’t always come true here, and that’s the perspective this song and video take. The video is a dream through California that showcases the good, the bad and the ugly.”
