EVEL LIVE 2!

Last summer Travis Pastrana made history re-creating three of Evel Knievel’s most legendary stunts during Evel Live on HISTORY. On July 7, Evel Live 2 will raise the bar again with three more record-breaking stunts performed by moto phenoms Axell Hodges and Vicki Golden, and like last summer, you’ll be able to watch it all go down live on HISTORY.

Vicki will be the first woman to attempt to break the firewall record, riding at high speed through a series of flaming wooden boards. The current record was set in 2006. Axell will look to break two records. First, he’ll attempt to jump over more than 24 beverage trucks to best Evel Knievel’s 1971 attempt and Robbie Knievel’s 2003 record. Then he’ll attempt to jump farther than anyone ever has on a motorcycle, a distance that was set in 2011 at 379 feet, 9 inches.

Travis Pastrana will be back to co-host the show, and there will almost certainly be a selection of special guests to be announced. Stay tuned for more information on the broadcast, and check out the highlights from Evel Live right here.

MEET THE RIDERS

AXELL HODGES

Axell Hodges grew up in Southern California, the mecca of action sports, and has spent his entire life around motorcycles. He has been pegged by many as the next big thing in the world of dirtbikes. With a background in racing motocross and supercross, he has unmatched free-riding skills. Despite only being 22, Axell has had incredible success in competitions, including tallying up six X Games medals.

VICKI GOLDEN

Ever since she stepped onto the motocross scene, Vicki Golden has been changing the perception of women on dirtbikes. Growing up in San Diego, California, she started riding and racing motorcycles at a young age. She was the first female team member of the infamous Metal Mulisha and has won three consecutive gold medals for Women’s Moto X Racing at the X Games. In 2014, she was nominated for the Best Female Action Sports Athlete ESPY award.

Vicki Golden will be the first woman to attempt to break the firewall record, riding at high speed through a series of flaming wooden boards. The current record was set in 2006.
