Olympic organizers will have to ask another performer to play in their opening or closing ceremonies during the next Olympic Games. They called the Who’s management and asked if legendary drummer Keith Moon would be interested, not realizing he’s been dead since September of 1978. Oops.

In recent years the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd have all been asked to participate. Sir Paul McCartney says he’d like to perform, although nothing has been confirmed. And since Tupac’s holographic resurrection at Coachella a few weeks back, anything is possible. Even a Beatles or Who reunion!
