One week removed from a 10-game season-destroying losing streak, pretty much everything about the Cincinnati Bengals sucks.  The San Diego Chargers will trash them on Sunday, and you can hear the carnage live on 96-7 KCAL Rocks.

There.  That was easy.  Now, let’s get down to the other game affecting the Chargers’ playoff fate.

Y’see, the Bolts still need help.  No, not this kind.  They need someone, anyone to beat the Kansas City Chiefs.  Just once.

The first of two attempts happens this Sunday in K.C. when the Tennessee Titans take their shot.  In a matchup of the two worst passing teams in the AFC, matters will presumably be decided on the ground, making for an intriguing matchup.  After all, the Chiefs split their running duties two ways and lead the league in rushing.  The Titans have just one guy doing all the heavy lifting.  Fortunately for them, it’s Chris Johnson.  Speaking of CJ2K, he started the season slowly, but he’s rolling now, going for 241 in the last two games.

The question, then, is whether one ace beats are pair of kings.  The Titans do, however, have a card up their sleeve – kicker Rob Bironas, who’s missed a field goal this year.

Considering the Titans are still alive in the playoff hunt, but barely, the Chargers have to hope they don’t fold on Sunday.  Tragically, the Chiefs’ 6-0 home record indicates Tennessee may be receiving a lump of coal on the day after Christmas.
