The Mission Inn in Riverside is a must see during this time of the year.  They use nearly 4 million lights on and around the historic Inn.  It really is a crazy sight and you can walk around and inside for free.  Here’s the info:

The above photo is of the Young Marines getting ready to participate in last year’s San Bernardino Christmas Parade.  This year’s parade is on Saturday, December 3rd in its 34th year presented by the East Valley YMCA in San Bernardino.  Another great free event.  For details, click the link below…

Two of my favorite things come together in Temecula Thursday night, December First:  Holiday lights and ducks!  The 14th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony happens at the Temecula Duck Pond.  Here’s all the info:

I travel the Inland Empire each holiday season to see residential neighborhood light displays.  There’s always pockets here and there but nothing as spectacular as the neighborhood in Alta Loma in and around the street Thoroughbred.  Bundle up the kids, take some hot chocolate and enjoy the stroll, it’s amazing.  Here’s a link for directions:

That’s just a few of the free holiday things to see and do in the Inland Empire this season.  Lots of folks feel strongly to stand up or protest for things they believe in.  Me?  I am an Inland Empire pusher!  Support your community by getting out there and being a part of it.  Happy Holidays!
