The annual Ghost Walk Riverside takes place this Friday and Saturday nights in downtown Riverside. To sum it up, it’s a tour of spooky trails narrated with scary tales. You’ll hear stories of frightening local folklore and you’ll have special access to areas deep within the city that you normally could not enter. For example, the historic Mission Inn Catacombs pictured below.

I have been many times and it is definitely worth doing. There are two tours offered: The “Family Friendly Tour” and the “Dark Dreams Tour” which is more scary and not for the kids. I took my 8-year-old nephew last year and he got spooked on the “Family” tour so keep that in mind for young children.

In addition to the Ghost Walk Tours the Main Street Mall (above) will have live entertainment, game booths, souvenir stands and food booths.
Check out legends of ghosts, goblins and the undead in downtown Riverside this weekend. Ticket information is in the link below. Boo!
