The Inland Empire 66er’s hold their opening night game against the rival Rancho Cucamonga Quakes. Game time is 7:05 p.m. in San Bernardino at Arrowhead Credit Union Park.
To the Inland Empire south, the Lake Elsinore Storm also start their season tonight at 7:05 p.m. at home in The Diamond. They play the San Jose Giants (I hope no one wears a Dodgers jersey).
And lest we forget about the beloved team to the Inland Empire north in Adelanto, the High Desert Mavericks start their season away from Stater Bros. Stadium in Lancaster tonight against the Lancaster Jethawks.

And do you know each team’s major league affiliation? Well, the Quakes and the 66er’s switched teams this season. The Quakes are now the Dodgers minor league team and the 66er’s are the babies of the Angels.
The Quakes continue their affiliation with the Padres and the Mavericks are the minor league team of the Mariners.
Good times, short drive, little cash so hooray for Inland Empire baseball!
