We know that Motley Crue promised that their new set of shows at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas were going to be dangerous, and with a show name “An Intimate Evening in Hell”, we probably should’ve guessed there would be lots of pyrotechnics. According to the review of opening night, there is no lack of fire! Here’s a bit of not so great cell phone video for you too:

KISS isn’t wasting any time assembling their new arena football army! Just a month or so after announcing the formation of the team Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley and the rest of the KISS crew are trying to recruit one of the biggest names in football to be their starting quarterback…Tim Tebow!
Since being released by the Pats, Tebow has been approached by a few CFL teams, a rugby team and now KISS! No word yet on what the 26 year old NFL castoff will do but I would say most people are rooting for the kid! After all everyone loves to Tebow, right? Hello. Is thing thing on?

Ozzie Osbourne set his home on fire last week while trying to fry bacon for his sandwich. This is the second time this year that the fire department has been called to the Osbourne residence in Beverly Hills. In January they were called when Sharon left a candle lit overnight and set the entire living room on fire!
“The firemen come up, they give us a lecture, and Ozzyâ€™s like: ‘Sheâ€™s been doing this to me for 32 years! You tell her, you tell her, no more candles!” said Sharon.
Hmm perhaps the Osbourne’s should stay away from all types of fire for now!

As Motley Crue get ready to kick into their 2nd residency at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino starting later this month, they’re also making plans for their final tour. Vince Neil tells Billboard Magazine that they’ll be calling it quits on the road in 2014 with a tour starting up in Spring. He says they plan on still making music together occasionally, but the it’ll be the end of any regular touring for the band. Sammy Hagar has his new album coming out later this year, “Sammy Hagar and Friends” hits the stores on September 24th. The video above is a little sneak preview posted at the Rolling Stone magazine web site. “Knockdown Dragout” features Kid Rock and Sammy’s band mate in Chickenfoot, guitarist Joe Satriani.
Other guests on the new album include Nancy Wilson from Heart, Neal Schon from Journey, Chad Smith from the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and of course, his buddy Michael Anthony from Van Halen, who he’s worked with for years. Sammy says, “Everybody that was available I got in and recorded with and just wrote songs and kicked songs around, did some cover tunesâ€¦Anyway, I’m really excited.”
He adds, “I can’t wait for you to get your hands on this CD, I can’t wait for you to listen to this music and I can’t wait to get on the road and play it for you.”
The group that owns Madison Square Garden in New York City has taken over the legendary Forum in Inglewood and they’re putting 100 million dollars into renovating it and returning it to glory. That includes painting it the original red once again. The former home of the Lakers and The Kings, site of countless concerts by all of the biggest artists in rock history. If you grew up in Southern California, you probably saw a bunch of shows there over the years. Can’t wait to catch a show there early next year, they’re opening up the new place with The Eagles in January!
