On Monday, at the Whiskey A Go Go in Los Angeles, the artist lineup was announced for the Sixth Annual Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival. It’s a great lineup for fans of previous years. If you were lucky enough to score tickets and were there, this is a nice reminder. If you didn’t get a chance to see Green Day playing their 22 song set at the Fox Theater on Sunday night in Pomona, in their first live show since lead singer, Billy Joe Armstrong, had a meltdown on stage in Las Vegas and went though a stint in rehab, here is some fan video of what it looked like. The good news is that this was just a warm up show for their upcoming tour, and we’ll all be able to see them at the Los Angeles Sports Arena on Thursday, April 18th.
Metallica’s Orion Music + More Festival is taking to the Motor City in June for its second year…once again, Metallica is headlining and they’re bringing along the Red Hot Chili Peppers and a bunch more!
Black Sabbath are currently working on the first album of all new material (with Ozzy on vocals anyway!) since Never Say Die a hundred or so years ago. Let’s see how the recording of “13″ is going…
