Last Thursday, KISS performed an Acoustic – No Makeup show at at San Manuel Indian Bingo & Casino. A week before they are inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, this was a special event. With the new LA KISS Arena Football Team, the band wanted to say thanks to San Manuel for their support.
If you have ever been to one of our Rock & Roll Bingo nights, you’ll know the room. The crowd was pretty small – for a KISS show, and the setting was nice and intimate. Now, before anyone calls it out, yes… Gene’s bass isn’t acoustic. Still, the show had a nice relaxed feel. Paul shared some stories, and the set list was great. In case you were not able to be there, below are a few photos from the night.
Last weekend the Self Help Festival hit San Bernardino’s National Orange Show Event Center with a great selection of bands. Some would argue that rock, and metal in particular, has too many sub-genres. Well, last weekend covered them all – ranging from Metal, to Deathcore, Metalcore, Post-hardcore, Pop and Punk. The headliners were A Day To Remember, and they put on a great show, complete with confetti and fire. I’ve wanted to shot photos of this band for some time and finally got the chance. Joining them was a lineup including A Skylit Drive, Attila, The Story So Far, Of Mice + Men, and Bring Me the Horizon, along with a few more. 19 bands in all performing on 2 stages – one inside, and one outside. Below are a few photos from the day…
It has been a crazy few hours for Nirvana fans as KiroTv 7 was reporting that Seattle Police were going to reopen the investigation of the death of Kurt Cabain.
Now it appears to all be false.
“Despite an erroneous news report, we have not ‘reopened’ the investigation into the suicide of Kurt Cobain,” the Seattle Police Department tweeted from a verified account.
The rumor was that they were going to reopen the case because some undeveloped photographs from the crime scene were printed. The police went on to clarify on Twitter that the case was only being reviewed in anticipation of the 20th anniversary of Cobain’s death.
