International rock stars Green Day will release 18 new tracks to help celebrate record store day on April 18th! No word yet on if the songs will be available as singles or on a full album. However the band did say the new tunes will be on Vinyl, CDs and even cassettes!
Green Day has always been a huge supporter of Record Store Day. In 2009 they released a limited edition reissue of their breakthrough album Dookie on vinyl! I remember being blown away when I heard Dookie for the first time as a kid, so I’m always stoked when these guys are coming out with more new music!
You’ve heard Stu, Tiffany, and Jimbo talking about it, and they’re giving away tickets every morning this week before you can buy them, for a special one of a kind Kiss show. Now, we can give you some more details!
KISS will play a rare acoustic show on Thursday, April 3 at San Manuel Indian Bingo and Casino in Highland, California, exactly one week before they are inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame.
Billed as “Kiss: An Acoustic Evening And Stories With Kiss”, the concert will feature the band performing stripped-down versions of its classic songs without makeup and telling stories, a setup that is said to be “not unlike” the “MTV Unplugged” episode the band filmed nearly 20 years ago.
Tickets are $65-$75 and go on sale Friday, February 28 at 11 a.m. via Ticketmaster or at the box office at San Manuel. You must be 21 or older to attend the show. Listen to STJ for your chance to win, but if you don’t be sure to grab some through this link when they go on sale Friday morning!
