Did you go to church on Sunday or smoke pot? Kimmel’s pedestrian question is hilarious!
Last Thursday, KISS performed an Acoustic РNo Makeup show at at San Manuel Indian Bingo & Casino. A week before they are inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, this was a special event. With the new LA KISS Arena Football Team, the band wanted to say thanks to San Manuel for their support.
If you have ever been to one of our Rock & Roll Bingo nights, you’ll know the room. The crowd was pretty small – for a KISS show, and the setting was nice and intimate. Now, before anyone calls it out, yes… Gene’s bass isn’t acoustic. Still, the show had a nice relaxed feel. Paul shared some stories, and the set list was great. In case you were not able to be there, below are a few photos from the night.
Last weekend the Self Help Festival hit San Bernardino’s National Orange Show Event Center with a great selection of bands. Some would argue that rock, and metal in particular, has too many sub-genres. Well, last weekend covered them all – ranging from Metal, to Deathcore, Metalcore, Post-hardcore, Pop and Punk. The headliners were A Day To Remember, and they put on a great show, complete with confetti and fire. I’ve wanted to shot photos of this band for some time and finally got the chance. Joining them was a lineup including A Skylit Drive, Attila, The Story So Far, Of Mice + Men, and Bring Me the Horizon, along with a few more. 19 bands in all performing on 2 stages – one inside, and one outside. Below are a few photos from the day…
Surprise performance by Brian Johnson at Madison Square Garden on Friday! Joel introduces him by saying he’s part of one of the best bands he ever saw, then he comes out and jams on You Shook Me All Night Long!
It has been a crazy few hours for Nirvana fans as KiroTv 7 was reporting that Seattle Police were going to reopen the investigation of the death of Kurt Cabain.
Now it appears to all be false.
“Despite an erroneous news report, we have not ‘reopened’ the investigation into the suicide of Kurt Cobain,” the Seattle Police Department tweeted from a verified account.
The rumor was that they were going to reopen the case because some undeveloped photographs from the crime scene were printed. The police went on to clarify on Twitter that the case was only being reviewed in anticipation of the 20th anniversary of Cobain’s death.

International rock stars Green Day will release 18 new tracks to help celebrate record store day on April 18th! No word yet on if the songs will be available as singles or on a full album. However the band did say the new tunes will be on Vinyl, CDs and even cassettes!
Green Day has always been a huge supporter of Record Store Day. In 2009 they released a limited edition reissue of their breakthrough album Dookie on vinyl! I remember being blown away when I heard Dookie for the first time as a kid, so I’m always stoked when these guys are coming out with more new music!
You’ve heard Stu, Tiffany, and Jimbo talking about it, and they’re giving away tickets every morning this week before you can buy them, for a special one of a kind Kiss show. Now, we can give you some more details!
KISS will play a rare acoustic show on Thursday, April 3 at San Manuel Indian Bingo and Casino in Highland, California, exactly one week before they are inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame.
Billed as “Kiss: An Acoustic Evening And Stories With Kiss”, the concert will feature the band performing stripped-down versions of its classic songs without makeup and telling stories, a setup that is said to be “not unlike” the “MTV Unplugged” episode the band filmed nearly 20 years ago.
Tickets are $65-$75 and go on sale Friday, February 28 at 11 a.m. via Ticketmaster or at the box office at San Manuel. You must be 21 or older to attend the show. Listen to STJ for your chance to win, but if you don’t be sure to grab some through this link when they go on sale Friday morning!
Well, Jimmy Fallon didn’t waste any time bringing in the big names for his first show as host of the Tonight Show, did he?
Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons have signed a deal for a new reality show on AMC that will follow the development of the band’s new arena football team!
This isn’t the first time KISS has been involved in a reality series. A few years back Gene was in “Gene Simmons Family Jewels” which followed the bassist and his family in episodes like “Food vs. Sex” and “Sex and Rock N’ Roll.” The show was successful but went off the air in 2012.
Above is a video that has nothing to do with the football team or reality shows but is just bad ass! Enjoy!
