Alice in Chains are getting ready to release their new album, and they’ve teamed up with the comedy web site Funny Or Die to make an awesome “mockumentary” called AIC 23, featuring a ton of people you may recognize…enjoy!

So I am the new guy here at KCAL so I thought I’d tell you a bit about me. I grew up in Escondido where I attended San Pasqual High School, home of the fighting Eagles! Go, fight, win! SP was cool! I had a lot of great teachers, met a lot of hot chicks and even learned a thing or two.
Upon graduation I moved to San Bernardino to attend CSU San Bernardino. At Cal State I was involved in everything from radio and TV to community service, to beer bongs and fraternities. Those four years were some of the best of life! So many good times, most of them I can’t remember, but, oh well I am pretty sure they happened.
After receiving my bachelors in Communications I went to work for 96.7 KCAL Rocks where I still am today!
When I am not at KCAL you can most likely can find me drinking beers in Downtown Redlands, up in the mountain snowboarding, at beach surfing or watching my two favorite teams the Chargers and Padres!
I am so stoked to be here at KCAL Rockin’ The Empire every Sunday Night from 7-11. If you ever want to hear something or just want shout the breeze feel free to give me a call at 909-431-4967! KCAL ROCKS!!

On Monday, at the Whiskey A Go Go in Los Angeles, the artist lineup was announced for the Sixth Annual Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival. It’s a great lineup for fans of previous years. The headliners are Rob Zombie and Five Finger Death Punch, but with 4 stages for the first time they have packed it with artists:

Cal Jam 2! If you were part of the 300,000 people that were there you may remember it. Or part of it, anyway. Let’s face it, there was a lot of stuff being consumed there. I cruised there in young teenage style in my older brother’s van. Here are a few reminders of what happened back in the day…

If you were lucky enough to score tickets and were there, this is a nice reminder. If you didn’t get a chance to see Green Day playing their 22 song set at the Fox Theater on Sunday night in Pomona, in their first live show since lead singer, Billy Joe Armstrong, had a meltdown on stage in Las Vegas and went though a stint in rehab, here is some fan video of what it looked like. The good news is that this was just a warm up show for their upcoming tour, and we’ll all be able to see them at the Los Angeles Sports Arena on Thursday, April 18th.

When people have too much time on their hands, they create GOLD! Someone had time to make a compilation of goats who sound waaay too much like people!
Then, someone else decided to insert those goats in a Bon Jovi song.
We Thank That Person.
