You probably wouldn’t need this unless you were a part of the Expendables team, but it’s still totally cool!

If you missed Aerosmith on 60 Minutes last night, here’s the whole video. Our two favorite highlights: Tom Hamilton and Joey Kramer rolling their eyes when Brad Whitford talks about Steven Tyler at 8:30, and the Tyler-Joe Perry exchange about what would happen if they ever came to blows at 12:08.

Their new tour starts in June, and the new album presumably drops before then.

Check this video out – it’s Diamond Dave interviewing Eddie and Alex about their childhood, how they learned to play music, etc. There’s a ton of stuff in here we didn’t know, starting with Dave talking about how he’d always have to check in with their mother whenever he went over to their house after high school.

Want to take a trip way behind the scenes of 96-7 KCAL Rocks? Strap in. I can take you there.

Picture this: you have about the coolest job on the planet. You’re the dude responsible for everything that happens on the air here. Yep, there are “responsible” people that work here – we’re just not that responsible. (Or have you never checked out Boob Camp?)

The incredibly talented and funny morning show you’re lucky enough to work with is about to do one of the best, coolest things they’ve ever done. Everything’s ready to go…and then, all hell breaks loose.

Greetings from Oregon: old friends M.J. & Grace Matthews

Funny thing about working here at 96-7 KCAL Rocks – we really are a family. That means that we’re kinda like the Hotel California – you can check out, but you can never leave.

If you’ve been hanging with us for a while, you remember M.J. Matthews. He was on the air from 9am to 2pm here for 15 years. He left in 2004 after getting married and having two ridiculously adorable daughters, who he wanted to raise in a small town in Oregon. He never left the KCAL family, however.

Because M.J. was right in the middle of things here on 9/11, we asked him to send us his thoughts about that day. Here’s what he wrote:

As Americans, here at 96-7 KCAL Rocks, we like to think of this as the day we all celebrate our “other” birthday – this year, the 235th birthday of our country. Kelli Cluque already published a lot of this stuff, but we want to make sure you have it handy today.

Still looking for a place to go see fireworks tonight? Here’s a list, though we know of at least one show they missed at Upland High.

There’s also this rather amazing document, signed 235 years ago today, that we’re celebrating. On days like today, we like to spend at least a little time remembering why we’re celebrating. After the jump, you can click on the picture of that glorious document and be magically whisked away to a place where you can read the Declaration of Independence for yourself.
