Daryl and 4orty did it a couple of years ago, last year it was Patrick and Kono, and now it is YOUR chance to Go Over The Edge and rappel down the side of the City Hall Building in Downtown Riverside and help Habitat for Humanity Riverside!
Habitat for Humanity Riverside is hosting its 3rd Annual Over the Edge fundraising event on June 1st and 2nd, 2018! There are still a few spots left for this exciting, one of a kind event. The few, brave, and adventurous people to accept the challenge will have the opportunity to rappel down the face of Riverside’s iconic City Hall!
Participants must reach the fundraising minimum of $1,000, to have the opportunity to go Over the Edge. Leading up to the event, participants have been receiving fundraising support and coaching from a fundraising professional and have set up on their own, peer to peer fundraising page. For registration information or to support someone Over the Edge, visit www.HabitatRiverside.org/OverTheEdge
“We are excited to be able to once again offer an exciting fundraiser that is just a little different and appeals to the adventurous side of our community. To be able to offer the support and needed services to our veterans while having this much fun is just icing on the cake!” said Kathy Michalak, Executive Director, Habitat for Humanity Riverside.
100% of the proceeds from this event go toward support for Habitat for Humanity Riverside’s veterans programs which include new home ownership, home repair services for current homeowners and supportive services such as financial literacy training, peer to peer counseling, trauma informed art therapy, and minor home repair training.
